Description

I took this once-quiet, almost minimalist room and wrapped it in warmth, character, and layers of personality. Where there was once a simple off-white sofa floating against plain walls, I introduced a deep, inviting green velvet sofa that anchors the space like a rich jewel. Around it, I layered soft textures and color: a collection of vintage Persian rugs stacked over one another to create depth underfoot, and heavy sapphire-blue velvet drapes that now frame the windows with a sense of old-world elegance.

The lighting evolved from a single flush-mount fixture to a graceful crystal chandelier that casts a warm, sparkling glow across the room. I filled the walls with a thoughtful mix of framed paintings, mirrors, and small decorative pieces, turning empty space into a personal gallery. On either side, I placed ornate gilt tables piled with books, plants, and collected objects—giving the room that wonderful feeling of being thoughtfully gathered over time rather than simply decorated.

The result is a space that feels both grand and deeply livable, as if the room has finally been given a story to tell.
