Description

I've transformed this living room from a clean but somewhat sparse space into a warm, inviting retreat that feels both polished and lived-in.

The starting point was already lovely—the soft neutral walls, rich wood floors, and abundant natural light created a calm foundation. But the room lacked personality and a sense of completion. To bring it to life, I introduced a few carefully chosen elements that add depth and character without overwhelming the serene palette.

On the left wall, a bold abstract artwork now draws the eye as you enter, giving the space an artistic focal point that contrasts beautifully with the soft surroundings. On the opposite side, a tall fiddle-leaf fig tree brings organic movement and a touch of nature indoors, softening the architecture and making the room feel more grounded. Finally, I replaced the original coffee table with a lighter, sculptural round design in natural wood. Its clean silhouette and warm tone tie the seating area together while keeping the flow of the room open and airy.

The result is a space that feels thoughtfully curated yet effortlessly comfortable—ready for both quiet mornings and relaxed evenings with friends.
