Description

I've transformed this living room from a soft, neutral space into one that feels fresh, inviting, and thoughtfully layered.

The biggest shift came from swapping the creamy white sofa for a gentle blue-gray one, which brings a calm, grounded presence to the room and creates beautiful contrast against the warm wood floors. To complement the new sofa, I introduced natural textures throughout—replacing the simple wooden side tables with woven, organic designs and updating the coffee table to a light, rustic wood piece that feels both casual and refined.

On the left wall, a serene abstract artwork now draws the eye as you enter, while a tall fiddle-leaf fig tree on the right brings life and movement, softening the corner and connecting the indoors with the greenery visible through the windows. The pillows were refreshed in warm neutrals to echo the wood tones, and the overall palette feels more balanced—still light and airy, but with more depth and personality.

The result is a space that feels both comfortable and curated, like a quiet retreat that still welcomes you in.
