Description

I took this bright, open living room and gave it a gentle but meaningful refresh that feels both timeless and inviting.

Before, the space was clean and calm, with a simple round coffee table and a plain rug that kept things feeling light and open. To bring in more character and warmth, I swapped the coffee table for a beautifully weathered rectangular one that adds texture and a sense of history. I layered a softly patterned rug beneath it, introducing subtle blues and creams that create depth while still letting the hardwood floors breathe.

The biggest transformation came from adding that elegant, gilded mirror above the sofa. It instantly draws the eye, reflects the natural light from the windows, and makes the room feel even more spacious and gracious. I also styled the side table with a generous vase of soft branches, bringing a touch of nature indoors and balancing the right side of the room.

The result is a space that still feels serene and uncluttered, but now has a quiet sophistication—like the room has settled into itself with a little more soul.
