I took a bright but somewhat bare living room and turned it into a warm, inviting space that feels both polished and lived-in.
The room already had great bones—beautiful hardwood floors, soft neutral walls, and plenty of natural light—so I focused on adding layers that bring personality and comfort. On the left wall, I hung a simple round mirror with a sunburst frame to catch the light and add a gentle architectural detail. In the center, I swapped the darker coffee table for a lighter, natural-wood version and styled it with a few stacked books and a soft blue decorative bowl, creating an easy focal point without clutter.
The biggest transformation came on the right side, where I introduced a tall, graceful palm in a terracotta pot. It brings life, texture, and a touch of the outdoors into the room while softening the corner. Together, these thoughtful additions make the space feel calmer, more balanced, and ready to be enjoyed every day.
