I took this once-bright, sunlit room and gave it a soulful transformation—turning a cheerful cottage corner into a rich, enveloping retreat.

Where there was once a light floral sofa and pale walls, I introduced a deep emerald velvet wingback chair and ottoman, grounding the space with luxurious texture and a jewel-toned presence. The soft beige carpet was replaced with a large, intricately patterned oriental rug that adds warmth, depth, and a sense of history underfoot.

I swapped the light blue cabinet for a stately dark wood vitrine and layered the walls with a dramatic celestial tapestry, while hanging heavy burgundy curtains to frame the doorway. A vintage lantern now casts a warm, intimate glow from above, replacing the bright daylight that once flooded the room.
