Description

I've taken this lovely, open living room and given it a warm, collected refresh that feels both polished and livable.

The bones were already beautiful—those rich wood floors, the soft neutral walls, and all that natural light pouring in through the French doors and windows. But the space felt a little flat and unfinished. I started by swapping the heavy, dark coffee table for a lighter, natural-wood round one that feels fresher and more inviting. Then I added layers of personality: a large, softly textured round mirror on the left wall to bounce light around and create a focal point, and a tall, graceful palm in a warm terracotta pot on the right to bring in life and a touch of organic softness.

Finally, I styled the coffee table with a few books, a simple bowl, and some natural stone accents—small details that make the room feel thoughtfully lived-in rather than staged. The result is a space that still feels calm and airy, but now has warmth, balance, and a quiet sense of personality.
