This room has been gently transformed from a clean but quiet space into one that feels warm, welcoming, and thoughtfully lived-in.
Before, the room had a calm, neutral foundation—soft beige walls, a simple round coffee table, and a pair of matching lamps sitting on dark wood side tables. It felt open and bright, but a little bare, like the room was waiting for someone to move in.
In the updated version, we kept that same airy feeling but layered in warmth and personality. The biggest change was swapping the basic ceiling light for a more sculptural lantern-style chandelier, which now casts a softer, more inviting glow. We replaced the round coffee table with a longer, whitewashed piece that brings a touch of farmhouse charm and gives the sofa a stronger anchor.
On the left wall, a large piece of art now adds depth and interest, while a tall fiddle-leaf fig tree on the right brings life and a bit of natural greenery into the room. The side tables were refreshed with a lighter, slightly weathered finish, and the coffee table was styled with a simple tray and fresh greenery to make the space feel more curated and ready for everyday living.
Overall, the room still feels light and open, but now it has a quiet sense of character and comfort.
