I took this already lovely, light-filled room and gave it a gentle but transformative refresh—layering in warmth, texture, and a touch of nature so it feels both serene and welcoming.
The biggest shift came from replacing the simple ceiling light with a woven drum fixture that casts a softer, more inviting glow. Above the sofa, I introduced a large, timeworn mirror that beautifully reflects the windows and instantly makes the room feel deeper and brighter.
On the left, a tall potted palm now brings a graceful organic presence, softening the corner and adding life to the space. I swapped the solid wood coffee table for a lighter, woven rattan design that feels breezy and fresh, then styled it with a few carefully chosen books and a small potted succulent.
Finally, I refined the pillows on the sofa—mixing in a round woven accent—and let the natural textures of wood, rattan, and linen speak for themselves. The result is a room that still feels calm and timeless, but now has more soul, depth, and quiet personality.
